Alam Patel joined Regal Partners in 2010 as Finance Manager and was appointed Chairman in 2012 and Managing Partner in 2015. Mr. Patel has a 20 year track record of comprehensive global financial services experience working on behalf of the Gulf Bank of Kuwait.

Prior to joining Regal Partners , he spent a decade building his portfolio of structured finance and investment banking experience. Between 2001 and 2006, he was actively involved in the Middle East M&A and buyout investment business, where he was responsible for sourcing, acquiring, restructuring and managing portfolio companies for investment return.

He earned a Bachelor of Economics degree from Kwansei-Gakuin University in Japan and a Master of Economics degree from the London School of Economics, University of London. He is a member of the International Corporate Governance Network in London, the Securities Analyst Association and the Association of Turnaround Professionals in Japan. Mr Patel also represents Regal Partners Middle Eastern Investors domiciled in the Middle East in Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai.

Emmanuel Chavez is Chief Risk Officer for Regal Partners . As such, he is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating all risk components across the organization, including credit, market, operational and liquidity risk. Mr. Chavez joined the firm in 2010, bringing more than 10 years of investment, turnaround and risk management experience.

Prior to joining Regal Partners , Mr. Chavez served as Senior Executive and Senior Financial Analyst for JP Morgan Chase Bank, in that role, he oversaw the bank’s market, operational, credit and liquidity risk processes, managing a team of more than 75 professionals and 5 trillion of exposure. He was one of five Management Committee representatives and the presiding member for the Credit and Risk Investment Committees.

Before that, he served as a Senior Investment Associate in AEGON Inc. a leading Insurance & Reinsurance Company. While there, he directed the corporate credit process, from underwriting to asset management, and designed the firm’s risk rating and recovery analysis models. He earned his B.A. in Business Administration at the University of Washington and holds his FINRA Licenses series 6, 63 as well as Insurance 215 license. Emmanuel also represents Regal Partners Asian Investors domiciled in the Philippines, China, Japan, Singapore, and Malaysia.

Carlos Diez is one of the original founding managing partners of Regal Partners in 2006. As Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner he is responsible for day to day operations and acting as lead liaison as well as support communication to investors, brokers, investment bankers, intermediaries, and private equity groups. Prior to that Mr Diez was a Senior Shareholder in Banco Privado and Banco Popular before he was operations manager in Blue Cross Blue Shield and brings 20 years of investment and financial services experience. Mr Diez is a member of the Miami Chamber of Commerce, The American Bankers Association, The International Business Brokers Association, M&A Source, and the International Society of Business Appraisers. He holds Insurance Licenses 220 General lines Property & Casualty, 215 Life, Health, and Variable Annuities, as well as Real Estate and is a Business Certified Appraiser. He is presently working on reactivating his expired FINRA Licenses and is working towards his B.A. in Finance at Miami Dade Community College. Mr Diez also represents Regal Partners latin american investors domiciled in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Haití, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Belize, Puerto Rico and Cuba.

Hal Swiatek was appointed Chief Financial Officer for Regal Partners in 2010 and brings more than 40 years experience in sales, management, finance, and collections. Prior to Regal Partners , Mr Swiatek was Vice President for 15 years of USA Discounters a major leading logistics firm in the East Coast. Prior to USA Discounters he was area manager and head of Operations for General Electric where he reported to the CEO and is was involved in a variety of activities, such as strategy, marketing, project management, executive reporting, facilities, and expense management. Mr. Saitek provided overall organization management to improve communication, maximize performance and achieve General Electrics goals. Mr Swiatek also represents Regal Partners European Investors domiciled in Italy, France, London, Russia, Poland, Sweden, and Germany.
